Proper care for your Rabbit or Bunny!
When you receive your rabbit or bunny let them get adjusted to their new home and give them water and food . It is normal for a bunny or rabbit to be nervous a few days after you receive it. They just need to adjust to their environment.
Feeding and Drinking
Every bunny needs rabbit pellets to eat. They need at least a half of a cup daily with timothy hay. Our rabbits or bunnies are trained to drink out of a water dish that is on demand . They do not use a water bottle. If you want to train them to drink out of a water bottle make sure you keep a water dish in there cage until you see them drinking out of the water bottle. DO NOT feed them any green vegetables it can cause them to be very sick and possibly die.
Handling
Our rabbits are pets. They should be handled daily.
Care of the cage
Your rabbit or bunny should have bedding in there cage . You can use Straw , woodchips or other bedding supplements. Your rabbit or bunny needs their cage cleaned out generally once a week or when their bedding is soiled.
Housing
Your rabbit or bunny can live inside of your house or outside . If your rabbit lives out side they need to be out of the wind and sun . Make sure you keep other house hold pets IE dogs , cats , etc away from your rabbit or bunny. It can cause them to be stressed.
